DeLand is Volusia County's county seat and one of the more character-rich communities in Central Florida. The historic neighborhoods near downtown and Stetson University, the larger estates along the St. Johns River corridor, and the newer construction throughout the area all represent different kinds of tile projects. We handle them all.
DeLand has a strong sense of place that a lot of Central Florida cities do not. The historic core near downtown, the Stetson University campus, and the established residential areas around them have homes with real character. Older properties here often need substrate work before tile can go down, and that is something we are accustomed to.
On the newer and higher-end side, properties along the St. Johns River corridor and in the outlying areas toward Orange City call for the kind of tile work that matches a significant renovation investment. Natural stone, large-format porcelain, custom layouts, and full master bath builds.
DeLand is about 40 minutes from our Sanford base on a clear day. We work in Volusia County regularly and take on DeLand projects throughout the year.
KV Tileworks is James and Andrew. James has been in construction in Florida his whole life. Andrew built a tile business in Colorado before moving down with his girlfriend and three kids. Between them they have 15+ years of experience on high-end residential installs, custom showers, and the kind of large-format work a lot of tile crews will not take on.
Every project gets a written scope before work starts. Materials, timeline, cost. They work in occupied homes, keep the site clean, and do not move on until the work is right.
