KV Tileworks installs bathroom tile, builds custom showers, and handles full bathroom remodels for homeowners across Seminole, Orange, Volusia, Lake, and Osceola counties. We work in high-end homes where the details matter. Every project includes a written scope, material selection help, and proper waterproofing on every shower we build.
We handle full bathroom remodels from start to finish. Before any work starts, you get a written scope covering exactly what we're doing, what materials are going in, and how long it takes. Nothing gets added to your project without your approval first.
Material selection is part of the process. We work with tile and stone suppliers across Central Florida to walk you through options and help you land on something that works for your space. You don't have to sort through that on your own.

We handle the tile and coordinate the rest. Here's what a typical project can include.
Shower Tile & Custom Pans
Full shower enclosures, custom-formed shower pans, niche, bench, and curb. All waterproofing included.
Tile Flooring
Porcelain, ceramic, natural stone. Straight lay, herringbone, diagonal, large format. Proper substrate prep on every job.
Backsplashes
Kitchen and bathroom. Subway, glass, stone, full-height to the ceiling. Layout and material selection help included.
Countertops
Through our supplier network. Quartz, granite, and natural stone. We coordinate the install so you're not managing two contractors.
Wood & Engineered Flooring
Solid hardwood, engineered wood, wide-plank. Nail-down, glue-down, or float. Acclimated properly for Florida's climate.
Outdoor Kitchen Tile & Stone
Tile and stonework for outdoor kitchens, entertaining areas, and covered patios. Built for Florida weather.
Accent Walls & Fireplaces
Tile and stone accent walls, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. From floor-to-ceiling tile to stacked stone.
Waterproofing Systems
Go Board, Wedi, Schluter KERDI, and sheet membranes. Every shower waterproofed correctly before the first tile goes up.

These come up on almost every estimate visit. Short answers based on what we see in Central Florida homes.
Porcelain vs. Natural Stone for Florida Bathrooms
Porcelain
Natural Stone
For most Florida bathrooms, porcelain is the practical choice. Natural stone is worth it when the look is a priority and the homeowner understands the upkeep. We talk through both during every estimate visit.

Epoxy Grout vs. Cement Grout
Epoxy Grout
Cement Grout
For shower floors and kitchen backsplashes that see daily use, epoxy is worth the extra cost. For standard wall tile in lower-traffic areas, sealed cement grout performs well. We recommend based on your specific project.

Large-Format Tile vs. Standard Tile
Large-Format (24"+ )
Standard (12x12 to 12x24)
Large-format tile is one of the most common requests we get on higher-end remodels. The substrate has to be right for it to work. We assess the floor or wall condition during the estimate visit before recommending a tile size.

Go Board vs. Cement Board for Shower Walls
Go Board
Cement Board
Cement board is not inherently waterproof. In a shower, it still needs a membrane. Go Board skips that step because the panel itself is the waterproof layer. It's why we prefer it on shower builds, especially in Florida's humidity.
